Growing up on the east coast, Tony's love for acting led him to take classes at the famous Herbert Berghof (HB) Studio in New York City. He then attended prep-school at Walnut Hill School of the Performing Arts in Natick, MA where he studied theater, dance, and voice.

Returning to New York for his final two years of high school, he appeared in several commercials, made his Off-Broadway debut in the Spanish-speaking play "The House with The Seven Balconies" (La Casa de Los Siete Balcones) alongside his mother, actress Gilda Mirós, and graduated from the Beekman School of New York.

Pursuing a theater degree, he studied at Whittier College in Southern California until he decided to give up acting and moved to Miami Beach - where he began a career in Public Relations. However, it wasn't until he started to write a nightlife column called "Beyond the Velvet Rope," for Miami Metro Magazine that he finally made a name for himself as a celebrated South Beach columnist and nocturnal personality known as "Mr. Nightlife." Since then, he has had a diverse writing career spanning 20 years and has written for national and international publications including Angeleno Magazine, ReFresh Magazine (UK), and TimeOut.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2005, he landed a job at the legendary Warner Bros Studios in Burbank as a VIP Tour Guide. After a successful yet brief stint there, he started a new career as a Casting Director at the Emmy Award-winning casting offices of Bunim-Murray Production in Van Nuys, CA where he worked on several of the company's most successful shows including MTV’s “The Real World” (Denver, Sydney, and Hollywood), “Road Rules: Viewers Revenge” and “America's Psychic Challenge”. Since then he has worked on hundreds of unscripted television series for countless networks and production companies including MTV's “I'm With Rolling Stone”, the Emmy Award-winning competition series “Project Runway” and ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight”.

His credits include VH1's “Tough Love” and “Making Mr Right”, ABC Family's “Beverly Hills Nannies”, Animal Planet’s “Confessions: Animal Hoarding”, The Travel Channel's “Baggage Battles”, A&E's “Shipping Wars”, Food Network’s “On The Rocks”, TLC's “Answered Prayers”, OWN’s “Ready To Love”, MTV's “Ex On The Beach” and “Are You The One”. He also most recently worked on the award-winning HBO Max series “We’re Here” and the hit summer reality competition show “Claim to Fame” for ABC - co-hosted by siblings Kevin and Frankie Jonas!

Tony has also cast several commercials and independent films including the award-winning drama “A Marine Story”. He was nominated for an Artios Award in 2018 for “True Life: We Are Transitioning”. And aside from being a part of the Casting Society of America (CSA), he is also a voting member of the Television Academy.

He just completed casting "Squid Game: The Challenge" (the reality competition series, based on the mega-hit Korean series) for Netflix - which began shooting in England this past January 2023!

On top of all of that, he and his best friend Jason Boegh co-wrote the hilarious pilot comedy series "Outdated The Series" that is now live on YouTube! They have a full season written and would love to get some traction to sell the show. So if you have any interest in optioning it, questions/comments about its future and further development, please reach out!
